Definition: Grease and synthetic rubber compatibility refers to the ability of grease to maintain the volume and hardness of standard elastomers unchanged when in contact with grease. It is expressed as a percentage of volume change.

① Poor compatibility of grease can cause changes in the elasticity of rubber materials, leading to increased or decreased size, softening or hardening, cracking, significantly reduced sealing performance, and phenomena such as plastic parts bursting, accelerated aging, and becoming brittle.
